Election Day is less than two weeks away. There are two ways that you can help.
Volunteer to Elect our Democratic Ticket
Our Democratic ticket is racing full steam to victory on November 8th, and it’s a team effort. If you can assist by canvassing, phone banking, or greeting voters at the polls, we can use your help throughout Arlington. Please reply to this note if you want to canvass, phone bank, or poll greet and I will connect you with the joint campaign.
In-Person Absentee Voting
Arlington has in-person absentee voting at three different locations every day (except Sunday) through Saturday, November 5th: Court House Plaza, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard in Central Arlington, Madison Community Center, 3829 N Stafford Street in North Arlington, and Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th Street S in South Arlington.
Voting is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays at all three sites. Voting opens weekdays at 8:00 am at Court House Plaza and 1:00 pm at Madison and Walter Reed, and runs through 7:00 pm Monday-Thursday and 5:00 pm on Fridays.
We expect very long lines at the polls on November 8th because of the magnitude of this election, so you may want to vote in-person absentee to beat the lines. Anyone who expects to be outside Arlington at any point on Election Day, expects to work (including commute) for more than 11 hours on Election Day, or meets any of a long list of reasons can vote absentee.
