With 60 days to go until the June 14th primary, the campaign is in full swing. Thank you to those who have been walking with me and hosting coffees so I can meet neighbors all around Arlington. I have been very heartened by the response I am receiving. Widening I-66
You may have heard the announcement this morning that VDOT is planning to move ahead with adding tolls on I-66 and is also pushing ahead with widening the highway inside the Beltway, which is a change from the Governor’s original proposal last year. Thank you! We did it!
Friends, What a wonderful day it is for Democrats and for the country! As you know, my concentration this cycle was doing whatever we could to help elect the President and Tim Kaine. And we did it! We had a clean sweep for Democrats in Arlington and statewide. We've had a whirlwind year - three local elections in Arlington just in 2012.
